About Heather Schapiro
Heather Schapiro is a heart-centered practitioner, certified hypnotherapist, and holistic healing facilitator dedicated to guiding individuals toward profound healing and self-discovery. Drawing on over a decade of experience as an employee health coach for medical insurance companies, Heather combines her academic foundation—an MS in Exercise Physiology and a BA in Sociology—with a deeply intuitive approach to wellness.
Her transformative journey into holistic health began in 2012 with a profound spiritual awakening. This life-changing experience revealed the deep interconnectedness of mind, body, and soul, shaping her belief that true healing involves harmonizing all aspects of the self. Heather's practice reflects this philosophy, offering a compassionate space where clients can uncover their authentic selves and embark on paths of meaningful growth.
Heather’s Practice
At Embodied Synergy Holistic Healing, Heather integrates several holistic healing modalities to support deep transformation on the mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Her work is rooted in the understanding that lasting change comes from within—by uncovering and releasing subconscious patterns, limiting beliefs, and emotional wounds. She guides clients toward reconnecting with their authentic selves, fostering a life of greater peace, clarity, and self-acceptance.
Credentials and Training
Heather holds certifications in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy and Past Life Regression. She is also certified and trained as a Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath® Practitioner, a Somatic Reparenting Method™ Facilitator, a Brainspotting Practitioner, as well as a Safe and Sound Protocol Provider. Her diverse expertise allows her to integrate evidence-based mind-body techniques with intuitive and spiritual insights, tailoring each session to the client’s unique journey.
Beyond her formal training, Heather’s practice is deeply influenced by her own spiritual path and the guidance of a wise teacher. This lifelong journey has shaped her philosophy of healing—one rooted in surrender, trust, and alignment with Divine Love—allowing her to hold space with both compassion and depth.
Holistic Healing Approach
Heather emphasizes the transformative power of working with the subconscious mind, nervous system regulation, heart coherence, and spiritual exploration to achieve lasting healing. Heart coherence involves creating harmony between the heart and brain, fostering emotional resilience and clarity. Spiritual exploration allows clients to delve into their deeper selves, uncovering profound insights and fostering a sense of connection to something greater than themselves. Through her holistic approach, she believes that true healing arises when one addresses the mind, body, and spirit as a synergistic whole.
Personal Practices
In addition to her healing work, Heather’s personal spiritual practice includes daily Kundalini Yoga and meditation, which she continues to deepen. These practices enable her to embody the very principles she shares with her clients: trusting the process, embracing humility, and staying attuned to the guidance of Love.
Philosophy
Heather’s philosophy centers on the belief that true transformation arises when we courageously face and release the barriers within ourselves. By dismantling these internal obstacles, we uncover the inherent light and love that reside at our core, opening the path to deeper healing and authentic self-expression.
Commitment to Growth
Whether working with clients to heal past traumas, break negative cycles, overcome fears, shift behavioral patterns, or explore spiritual awakening, Heather holds space for transformative growth. She empowers others to connect with their Core Self and live more fully from their soul. She also understands the importance of remaining deeply committed to her own path of spiritual growth and service, trusting that as she embodies greater synergy within herself, she can best help others to do the same.
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
